Paddy is the most prominent crop produced in Jalalabad Union. The place of the jute is after the rice. Then the agricultural commodities that can be mentioned are pulses like masalai, peas, sola etc. Oil seeds contain mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Food crops such as wheat and barley are produced. The union also produces abundant fruits like mango, jam, jackfruit, banana, peara, coconut, supa (wind lemon), le, ginger etc. Vegetables like chillies, onions, ginger, coriander, cauliflower, cauliflower etc. are grown in abundance.
